To start using your Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality (VR) headset, make sure that you have:

1) Start by downloading the Oculus App onto your smartphone. You can find the download links here.

2) Log in to the Oculus app using your Facebook log in. Note, you will need to have a Facebook account to use the Quest 2. If you do not have a Facebook account, create one now.

3) Insert the batteries into your Oculus hand controllers and turn on your headset using the button on the right side on the headset.

4) In the Oculus app on your phone, go to Settings > Pair New Headset > Quest 2

5) The Oculus app will look for your headset and let you know when it has paired. You'll need to put on the headset to continue the setup.

6) With your headset on, pick up your hand controllers and use the A button (or the Trigger on the back of the controller) to proceed through the set up.

7) Select the language you'd like to see when using the headset.

8) Check that you can see things clearly in the headset by moving it up and down slightly on your face.

9) If the image is still out of focus, blurry or unclear, try adjusting the space between the lenses. You'll need to remove the headset and physically move the lenses closer together, or further apart as needed.

10) Next, you'll need to connect your headset to your WiFi. Make sure you choose the same WiFi network that your phone is using. Enter the WiFi password and select Done.

11) Watch the Health and Safety video that will play automatically once you have successfully connected to the internet.

12) At this point, your headset may reset to install any available software updates. Remove your headset and let these run.

13) Your headset is now set up

14) To start using your headset, follow the guidance on screen to create a guardian boundary and set your floor height in VR

**Reminder: to use OMS with a Quest 2 headset you will need to be connected via an Oculus Link Cable to a VR ready laptop which has the Oculus app, and OMS software installed.
