This article explains how Paage works with Lightspeed K-Series, how to create vouchers on Paage, and how your restaurant staff should process them on the Lightspeed system.


How It Works

Paage allows you to sell vouchers that customers can redeem at your restaurant using the Lightspeed K-Series POS. The integration uses a Lightspeed Web Extension that connects your Paage account with Lightspeed to enable seamless voucher redemption directly at the POS.

You will add this URL as a Web Extension in Lightspeed (see this article).


Creating a Voucher on Paage

  1. Log in to your Paage dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Products >Vouchers section.

  3. Click + New product.

  4. Fill in the voucher details, such as:

    • Voucher value or discount

    • Validity dates

    • Usage conditions

  5. Save and generate the voucher.

How Restaurant Staff Should Use Vouchers in Lightspeed K-Series

When a customer is at your restaurant and wants to use their voucher, you can easily validate it through your system. Simply ask the customer to present their voucher code or QR code, then scan or enter it to confirm its validity. This process ensures a smooth and efficient redemption, helping you provide excellent service while keeping track of voucher usage.

  1. At the POS, open the order as usual.

  2. Tap the Paage button added to your menu (see setup article).

  3. A window will open showing the Paage voucher input interface (loaded via the Web Extension).

  4. Enter or scan the voucher code provided by the customer.

  5. The system verifies the voucher with Paage in real-time.

  6. If the voucher is valid, its discount or value will be applied to the current order. Simply click Use for Payment to redeem it.

  7. Complete the sale normally.

This process ensures secure, fast, and accurate voucher redemption without leaving Lightspeed.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure the Web Extension URL is correctly set and enabled in Lightspeed.

  • Confirm the Paage payment method (code: PAAGE) is created and active.

  • Ensure your staff knows to use the Paage button on the Lightspeed interface.
