What's included in the Explorer plan?

Here's what you get on the Explorer plan. Perfect for travelers, creators, and anyone sharing recommendations — without the PamPam logo.

Updated this week

The Explorer plan is PamPam's entry-level paid plan, built for individuals who want to create beautiful, shareable maps. It's ideal for smaller maps — think travel itineraries, local recommendation guides, or a curated map to share on LinkedIn. At $5/month (billed yearly), you get more spots, logo-free exports, and Map Gate.

Note:

  • The Explorer plan is billed at $5/month on a yearly plan (save 37%) or at a higher monthly rate if billed monthly.

  • Embedding on a website is not available on Explorer. Upgrade to Business to embed your map.

  • The PamPam logo is removed from video and PNG exports only. It remains visible on the live map. To remove the logo from your live map, upgrade to Business.

  • All Free plan features are included in Explorer.

What's included in Explorer

The Explorer plan gives you everything on the Free plan, plus:

  • Up to 150 spots per map — great for detailed but focused maps (vs. 30 on Free)

  • Up to 1,000 total spots across all your maps

  • Export as Video, no logo — download your map as a video without the PamPam watermark. Note: the logo is still visible on the live map itself.

  • Export as PNG, no logo — download a clean image of your map without the PamPam watermark. Note: the logo is still visible on the live map itself.

  • Map Gate — lock your map behind an email address or passcode. Great for growing your list through a map, or giving exclusive access to your subscribers and customers. Collected emails are downloadable as a CSV. Learn more.

How to upgrade to Explorer

  1. Log in to your PamPam account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select "Upgrade" or navigate to the Pricing page at pampam.city/pricing.

  4. Choose "Explorer" and select your billing preference — monthly or yearly.

Explorer is great for:

  • You're a traveler building itineraries to share with friends or followers

  • You're a blogger or creator sharing local recommendations

  • You want a logo-free export to post on LinkedIn or social media

  • You want to grow your email list or offer a map exclusively to your subscribers

  • You don't need to embed a map on a website — just a great shareable link

Best practices for Explorer:

  • Share your map as a link or export it as a PNG or video for social posts — no watermark on video exports means a more professional look.

  • Use Map Gate to collect emails and turn your map into a lead gen tool — then download your list as a CSV anytime.

  • Explorer works best for focused maps. If you find yourself needing more than 150 spots per map or want to embed on a site, the Business plan is the next step up.
