As a Business plan user, you can track your map's performance with Google Analytics. This allows you to measure page views, user engagement, and interactions with your custom map. Google Analytics treats your PamPam map as a standalone website, providing valuable insights into how users interact with your content.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide:
1. Set Up Google Analytics
If you're new to Google Analytics: Create a free account at analytics.google.com
If you already use Google Analytics: Create a new property specifically for your PamPam map
2. Create a New Property
In Google Analytics, go to Admin (gear icon in bottom left)
In the Property column, click "Create Property"
Name your property (e.g., "PamPam Custom Map")
For platform, choose "Web"
Select your time zone and currency
Click "Next" and complete the business information
Click "Create"
3. Set Up a Data Stream
Once your property is created, you'll automatically be prompted to set up a data stream
Enter the URL where your PamPam map is embedded or shared
Give your stream a name (e.g., "PamPam Map")
Click "Create Stream"
4. Get Your Measurement ID
Important: Skip the step where Google asks you to copy and paste code
Instead, look for the "Measurement ID" in the Web stream details screen
This ID always starts with "G-" (for example, G-ABC123XYZ)
Copy this Measurement ID
