This article will walk you through how to edit your book and embed items such as images, videos, and quizzes.

To edit the text within a book, first click on My Library.

Select the book that you would like to edit from the left menu.

Note: To verify which class the book is attached to, simply click on Add to a Class at the top of the screen.

After you've selected a book, in the table of contents view click on a section that you'd like to make changes to.

If you'd like to edit a paragraph, simply hover over it and some option will be shown. Click on Edit and it will open a text editor. From there, you will be able to edit, format, or delete the text.

To add a new paragraph, click on an existing paragraph to open up the text editor. See the example below.

To embed items into the text, hover your cursor over a paragraph, and to the left of it, a plus symbol (+) will appear. Click on that plus icon to embed an item above that section of the text. You will then have the option to embed videos, images, audios, and assessments.

To embed a video, click on Video and enter the video URL (from Vimeo or YouTube), or insert a native file directly from your computer (mp4, mov, wmc, etc.). To embed an image, click on Image, and you'll be able to drag images directly from your computer into the window, or click on Browse and select a specific file from your own computer folders.

To create activities or quizzes, click on Quiz, this will open a window with a library of activities that you can embed in your own book but, you can also create quizzes from scratch. For better instructions on this, please follow this link, and you'll be able to access a more specific set of steps.
