  1. Go to your library, and click on the book which contains the activities that you want to modify. Then, expand the chapter's content using the plus icons, and locate the section where your activity is placed.

  2. Click on the corresponding section of the chapter to be taken into the reader's view. Then, locate the activity you want to edit, hover the cursor over it and select the "Edit Assessment" option (it is completely normal if it takes a bit to load).

  3. A box will appear on the screen and, you will have two options, to add more questions to the activity (1), or to edit the current content on it (2).

3.1. By selecting the first option (+ Create Item), you'll have access to a wide variety of pre-designed templates that facilitate the creation of questions. It is only necessary to replace the information in the template once selected. Each template allows you to add, remove, edit, and shuffle the possible answers if required. This process is better explained in our article called "Adding activities to textbooks."

3.2. By selecting the second option (the pencil icon), you'll be able to edit the specific questions that are part of your quiz. To do so, click on it, then a second pencil icon will appear, click on it, and you'll access your question template.

  4. Finally, do not forget to click on "Save" after you have made modifications. Otherwise, your changes won't be reflected on the quiz. Or, click on the big red "X" if you'd prefer to close the edition box without saving changes.

Keep in mind, as long as no student has completed the activities to edit, the process outlined above will work flawlessly. Therefore, as a precaution, it is recommended that quizzes be modified before, and only before, students complete them; otherwise, the system will not alter the selected activity, instead it will create edited copies of the same activity to safeguard the students' saved grades.

In case you need to make a last-minute change to a quiz that your students have already completed, contact our team of specialist via any of our contact channels, please.
