How can my beneficiary receive the cash?

The user can opt for the following options:

  • “account credit”, for the beneficiary to receive the funds directly at a bank account; or

  • “cash pickup”, to physically collect the funds; or

  • Home delivery for Dominican Republic and Vietnam only

What Does my Beneficiary Need to present to Collect the Money physically?

  • Your beneficiary must present the transaction number and a valid official photo identification such as a National ID Card, passport, etc.

How can I edit Receiving Method / Payer from a beneficiary already in my contact List?

  • If you want to send to the same beneficiary, but need to use a different receiving method, then you will have to create another contact. Go to contact menu and select ¨Add contact¨.

Can I change my beneficiary information on an existing Transaction?

  • A: it is possible to modify Name errors or missing data (Middle name, Second last name) but it’s not possible to fully change the beneficiary.

What are the transaction status and their meaning?

  • PAYABLE: It means that the transaction has been transmitted to the Payer and is ready to be collected

  • IN PROCESS*: Transaction is under a validation process of two different types:

    • UniTeller’s Compliance department needs to verify transaction information

    • Payer is requesting documentation to release the funds

  • PAID: Funds already collected by Beneficiary (Or deposit in case of account credit).

  • CANCELLED: Transaction terminated. No refund processed.

  • REFUND: Refund process for a cancelled transaction in process or completed.

  • VOID: Transaction cancelled and no funds were extracted.

I received no TX Number or Confirmation

  • Check on your profile menu for your recent activity; Your most recent transaction will be shown. If not shown, no transaction was created.

  • Check your email to confirm you received your Transaction receipt; It will be labeled as: Transaction Number.

Is my remittance already available?

  • Please check the transaction status in your activity and if the status is: PAYABLE, it means the funds are available for your beneficiary.
