Enter Pricing for Commodities

Utilize the per column to add the unit of measure for accurate pricing calculation for your wires, cables, conduits!

Utilize the "per" column to indicate the unit calculations of C ( per 100) or M ( per 1,000).This can also be utilized within kit components as well. Each component will sum together automatically appearing as the kit unit cost.

Step 1: Enable the β€œPer” Field

  1. Head to the Pricing & Lead Time tab

  2. Click on the three vertical dots > Manage Columns > select Per

πŸ’‘Tip: You can drag and drop the column headers to reposition them


Step 2: Set the β€œPer” Value

  1. In the Per column, choose the appropriate unit from the dropdown (e.g., E,C,M).

  2. Parspec will automatically update the Sell Price field using the formula:

Sell Price = (Unit Price Γ— Quantity) Γ· Per

πŸ’‘Tip: You can use the bulk edit (✎) feature to mass assign the UOM


Step 3: Display the UOM in Your Quote

  1. Click Create Quote in the Pricing & Lead Time tab

  2. In the Pricing & Lead Time section of the customization page, make sure the Unit Price toggle is turned on.

  3. Preview your quote
