Create & Apply Lot Pricing

Learn how to enter lot pricing and assign those lots to line items when creating your quote

Step 1: Open the Lot Modal

  1. On the quoting screen, click the pencil icon (✎) next to the β€œLots” section to open the lot modal

    • πŸ’‘ Tip: You can drag the bottom of the modal to adjust its height if you want to see more or less on your screen.


Step 2: Create Your Lots

  1. Inside the modal, click the β€œ+” icon.

  2. Enter the Lot Name and pricing details.

  3. Once finished, you can minimize or close the modal


Step 3: Assign Lots to Line Items

There are two easy ways to assign a lot:

Option 1 – Double Click

  1. Double-click the Lot column for a given line item.

  2. Select the appropriate lot from the drop-down.

    πŸ’‘Tip: You can also copy (Ctrl +C) the lot name and paste (Ctrl+V) to other line items

Option 2 – Bulk Assign

  1. Select all the line items that belong to the lot

  2. Click the pencil icon (✎) to bulk edit

  3. Click on the Lot dropdown to mass assign the lot

    πŸ’‘Tip: This saves a ton of time when assigning lot names to large bill of materials – especially when many items belong to the same lot!


πŸ’‘General Tips

  • Lots are automatically applied to the the grand total so ensure that it is assigned to line items for the section subtotals to add up!

  • Lots applied across multiple sections will not be able to add up to the section subtotal. You will see N/A unless separate lots are created per section.

  • When customizing your quote, ensure to toggle off "unit pricing" and "extended pricing".
