How to Create Manufacturer Lists

Use manufacturer filters to narrow product searches to specific manufacturers. Follow these steps to create and manage your own lists.

Preliminary Step to Manufacturer List

Step by Step

Step 1: Navigate to the Manufacturer List

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select the Manufacturer section.

  3. Click on Manufacturer List.

Step 2: Create a New Manufacturer List

  1. Click Create New List.

  2. A form will pop up β€” fill out the following mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk *)

    • List Name*

    • (Optional) Description

  3. From the Manufacturer dropdown, select the manufacturers you'd like to include in this filter.

Step 3: Set Access Permissions

  1. Who should have access to this list?

    • Public: All team members on the account can view it.

    • Private: Only you can see the list.

    • Specific Branches: Restrict access to selected branches within your account.

  2. Who can edit this list?

    • Admins Only

    • All users who have access to the list

Step 4: Use the Manufacturer List in Product Search

  1. Return to your Dashboard.

  2. Open the Product Finder.

  3. Under Acceptable Manufacturers, use the dropdown to select your newly created manufacturer list.

  4. Your product search will now be filtered based on the selected manufacturers.

If star is enabled, this list will be your default list for product finder searches

  • You can create multiple lists for different needs (e.g., by region, product type, etc.).

  • Manufacturer lists streamline product discovery and ensure you're only browsing from approved or preferred vendors.
