How to Understand Parspec Pricing

Parspec uses a transparent, usage-based pricing model built around Platform Credits — giving you unlimited users and the flexibility to pay for what you actually use.

1.How the Platform Credits Work

Instead of seat-based licensing, Parspec measures usage through Platform Credits. Your subscription tier determines how many credits you receive per billing period. Credits are consumed when you and your team access specific services.

2.What Uses Credits

Here's how credits are consumed per service:

Service

Credits Used

Submittal (datasheets only)

1 credit

Submittal (datasheets + installation manuals/warranties)

2 credits

O&M Package (installation manuals/warranties only)

1 credit

O&M Package (installation manuals/warranties + datasheets)

2 credits

Quote (with product pricing)

1 credit

Product Finder — Annual Plan

100 credits per user/year

Product Finder — Monthly Plan

10 credits per user/month

Note: Quoting services are only available on Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Enterprise subscriptions.

Tip: Parspec charges a maximum of 1 credit per service type, per BOM. Versioning a submittal, O&M, or quote does NOT consume additional credits. Additionally, if datasheets were already included in a submittal, adding them to an O&M package for the same BOM costs nothing extra.

3.Product Finder Seats

You can activate a Product Finder seat for any user at any time. Credits are deducted immediately and prorated based on where you are in your billing cycle.

For example: activating Product Finder halfway through an annual plan costs 50 credits instead of 100. You can also reassign seats to different users throughout your billing period.

4.Subscription Plans

Parspec offers a variety of plans tailored to your usage needs, each with a credit allowance for Product Finder, quotes, submittals, and O&M documents. Standard plans are billed annually.

Note: Contact your Parspec sales representative to learn about monthly billing options and custom pricing.

5.What Happens If You Run Out of Credts

If your team exhausts all available credits, you have a few options:

Auto-Upgrade (Default) — Your subscription automatically upgrades to the next tier and your billing cycle resets. Admins can disable this in Settings → Plan & Payment.

Manual Refresh — If auto-upgrade is disabled, you can either wait until the end of your billing period or contact the sales team to discuss renewal terms at your current tier.

6.Upgrades, Downgrades, and Unused Credits

Downgrading or Cancelling — Select a new tier in Settings → Plan & Payment, or contact the sales team. Downgrades take effect after your current billing cycle ends.

Unused Credits — Annual plans do not support credit rollover. Monthly plans can roll over credits for up to one month.
