We have three different funding mechanics for you to choose from:

Live match funding

Live match funding means every pledge made by a supporter will be matched £1 for £1, up to a certain percentage of the project target or a maximum amount, whichever is sooner.

This will be demonstrated in the checkout when supporting a project:

You matched donation will appear under each pledge on the project page:

The cumulative amount pledged will be shown on the project page like so:

Match funding

This method allows you to pledge a certain amount onto a project with set conditions that the project needs to meet to unlock the funding. Often these conditions include at least 25 unique supporters and the project must meet at least 100% of its target.

This will be shown on the project page like so:

Grant funding

Grant funding allows you to pledge a certain amount onto a project with no conditions.

This will be shown on the project page like so:

If you have any questions about which funding mechanic would best suit your fund, please contact the Crowdfunder partnerships team on cfpartnerships@crowdfunder.co.uk.
