What is a Subsequent Notice of Sums in Arrears (SNOSIA)?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

A Subsequent Notice of Sums in Arrears (SNOSIA) is a follow-up notice that we send to keep you informed if your account is still behind on payments. After the initial Notice of Sums in Arrears (NOSIA), which you received when you first missed two consecutive payments, a SNOSIA is sent every six months as long as your account remains in arrears. This is a legal requirement to ensure you have up-to-date information on your account.

Even if you’ve arranged a repayment plan with us, you may still receive these notices. A SNOSIA is not a sign of default or further action; it’s simply a reminder of the ongoing arrears balance.

It’s important to review these notices carefully, and if you haven’t yet discussed your options, we encourage you to reach out. We’re here to talk through any questions you have and to help you find a manageable way to bring your account up to date.
