During onboarding and initial access to the app, you will be prompted to make a gym selection. The gym selection is an important part of the setup process because this will help Peak Strength assign exercises for your program based on the equipment you have available to you.

There are 4 primary options for gym selections during your initial setup.

NOTE: You can also enter equipment manually instead of selecting a gym setup. You can also adjust your equipment settings at any time after your account is set up.

No Gym option: This option is recommended for athletes who have access to minimal equipment. Most of your exercises will use body weight, minimal external resistance, and include the following equipment:

  • Bands

  • Jump rope

  • PVC Pipe Roller

  • Foam Pad

  • Mini Bands

  • Foam Roller

  • Sliders

  • Slant Board

  • Dowel Rod

NOTE: If you select the “No Gym” option, you will only have access to the No Gym Program inside peak strength. All additional programs in Peak Strength require that the barbell selection is active. If you would like to preview other programs, you can adjust your equipment settings to activate the barbell and gain access to the other programs available in the app.

Home Gym option: This option is recommended for athletes that have a home gym setup with basic equipment. All the equipment from the No Gym option will be included as well as:

  • Barbell

  • Dumbbells

  • Squat Rack

  • Plates

  • Flat Bench

  • Adjustable Bench

  • Boxes

  • Mini Hurdles

  • Medballs

  • Pull Up Bar

  • Weight Belt

  • Fat Grips

  • Ab Wheel

  • Forearm Roller

Local Gym option: This option is recommended for athletes that attend a local or commercial gym with a high variety of equipment, but may not include specialized pieces of equipment that a sports performance facility would include. All equipment from the No Gym and Home Gym selections will be included along with:

  • Bumper Plates

  • Platform

  • Decline Bench

  • Cable Machine

  • Back Extensions (Roman Chair)

  • Trap Bar

  • Kettlebells

  • Dip Bar

  • Lat Pull Down

  • Preacher Bench

  • Neutral Grip Attachment

  • Leg Curl

  • Leg Extension

  • Leg Press

  • EZ Curl Bar

Full Gym option: This option is recommended for athletes who train at a high-end training center or sports performance facility with highly specialized equipment. Many crossfit gyms would also fall under the Full Gym option. All equipment from previous selections will be included as well as:

  • High Bench

  • Reverse Hyper

  • Glute Ham

  • Jerk Boxes

  • Hurdles

  • Sled

  • Single Leg Squat Stand

  • Pulling Blocks

  • Pull Up Rings

  • Stationary Bike

  • Elliptical

  • Rower

  • Swimming Pool

  • Bicycle

  • Fan Bike

  • Ski ergometer

  • Sprint Sled and Harness

Again, you can customize your equipment settings at any time while using the app. We understand all gyms are different, so we recommend reviewing your equipment settings before starting your first program.
