Overall Gain is a single stat that captures how much you've improved across all your tracked exercises, even though those exercises measure very different things.
On the Progress tab, your exercises are organized by four performance attributes: Strength, Explosiveness, Speed, and Endurance. The exercises shown here are your Goal Exercises, the lifts and movements Peak Strength considers most meaningful to track. Your Training Plan emphasizes certain Goal Exercises, and any other Goal Exercises you perform along the way show up here too.
Improvement looks different for each exercise. Adding weight to your squat, jumping higher, and running faster aren't measured the same way. Peak Strength solves this by converting your improvement in each Goal Exercise into a percentage, so progress in one exercise can be compared and combined with progress in another.
You'll see a percentage for each of the four attributes, showing where your gains are coming from. Your Overall Gain combines your improvement across every Goal Exercise into one number that reflects your total progress.
