Plugins overview

All the available plugin options in PeopleHR.

As a PeopleHR administrator, you can use the plugins feature for your systems outside PeopleHR. With this, you can run additional payroll feeds and utility programs directly within the system.

Note: The plugins feature is available only in the Professional edition and above. To get your Professional licence, get in touch with your account manager. If you need their contact details, reach out to us.

To check out your plugins, click Plugins.


New request

When you set up a plugin to run, you create a plugin request.

  • To check out your plugins requests, click Requests.

  • To create a new request, click New Request.

We describe each plugin available in the table below:

Plugin

Details

With the Access Payroll Extract plugin, as a PeopleHR administrator, you can export specific queries on the total number of hours an employee has worked and upload them easily in Access Payroll.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Access Payroll Services plugin tool, you can easily export your PeopleHR data, ready to provide to our Access Payroll Services to process your payroll.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Active Payroll plugin, you can add up the total number of hours employees have worked and put this information into a format that you can easily upload into Active Payroll.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Activity report plugin, you can get an overview of all employees' working days within a specified time frame in one report in CSV format.

As a PeopleHR admin, you can extract files to import into DPN Payroll. To gather the data you want to upload, you need to create specific queries and logbooks in PeopleHR.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Missed Time Report plugin, you can produce and send a report showing where an employee has missed their clock in based on their work pattern directly to their managers. You can use this if your employees log their clock ins and outs via Tap In / Tap Out or Timesheets on the planner.

With the Nexus Learning Extract, as a PeopleHR admin, you can generate three extracts to send to your own SFTP server and update employee details in Nexus.

With the PeopleHR Offline Backup Tool plugin, your IT team can back up your PeopleHR data on a regular basis providing you with an offline backup mechanism through a bulk download. You can extract a number of queries, and employee documents, into one location on your computer.

To bulk download data, you can use the Offline Backup Tool plugin or the external Offline Backup tool compatible with Windows.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Payescape Payroll plugin, you can gather core employee data and overtime hours, and put this information into a format that you can easily upload into Payescape Payroll.

With the Payslip loader feature, you can upload employees' payslips you generate in your payroll system into employees' document records.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the SFTP Exporter plugin, you can export queries directly to a location using SFTP. You can then schedule this to run automatically.

To receive informative announcements directly to your chosen Slack channel, as a PeopleHR admin, you can connect your PeopleHR and Slack with the Slack Sync plugin.

As a PeopleHR admin, with the Time Attendance Sync feature, you can pull information from your clock-in machine directly into employees' planners in the form of a timesheet. You can do this as often as you prefer.

As a PeopleHR admin, with this tool, you can produce timesheets in a detailed or summarised format. It also feeds time to various payrolls.

With the Timesheet Uploader feature, as a PeopleHR administrator, you can upload employees' clock-in and clock-out data as a timesheet on the employee's planner.


Requests

To view the history of all past requests and check their job ID, job name, submitted date, completed date, status, download it or set it to repeat and when it's scheduled to run, click Requests.

  • Once you create a new request, allow up to two minutes to view this in Requests.

  • To download any file attached to the request, click Download.

  • To repeat the same request, click Repeat.

  • If your request failed for any reason, to view the error details, click the log icon.


Schedules

Once you set up your plugin and submit your request, you can schedule this plugin request to automatically run in the timeframe you need.
