With the Active Payroll plugin, you can add up the total number of hours employees have worked and put this information into a format that you can easily upload into Active Payroll by following the steps below.

Create a query
To create the query, follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Queries then click the plus + icon.
In the left-hand list select Work Pattern, and in the right-hand selection pane tick:
Work Pattern.
Effective Date.
Working Hours.
Weeks Wise Breakup.
Work Pattern Added Date.
Use Virtual Clock.
Click Next, then name the query as Payroll: Work Pattern.
Enter a description, and category for the query, then click Next.
Create an API key
To create an API key, follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Settings, then click API.
Click the plus + icon, then enter the API name.
Select the below endpoints, then click Save.
Employee
Salary
Query: select the query you just created.
Copy the API key.
Create a plugin request
To create the plugin request, follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Plugins then click New Request.
Click Active Payroll, then enter the API key created previously.
Enter the payroll start and end dates for the time frame you wish to include in this report.
Specify all locations that you want to include in this report using a comma to separate each location.
Create a .txt file to map your locations.
In this, specify what you wish for the location to be called in the Active report. See the screenshot below as an example of the location report. The format you need to follow is: location in PeopleHR#location in the report.
In this example, the location within PeopleHR called New York shows as NY in the report.
If a location is not specified in this mapping file, it will not be included in the report.
Upload the .txt file to the Location Mapping File, review the information then click Submit.
