As a PeopleHR administrator, besides manually uploading data in bulk, you can import in bulk using Excel templates via data loaders.

โš ๏ธImportant: The employee data upload function is for adding new employees only, use the employee updater tool for existing employees.

To upload new data in the system using data loader templates, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Bulk actions then click Data Loaders.

  3. Click a relevant action, then click the download image.png icon.

  4. Rename SubDomain_EmployeeData to your subdomain (e.g., testpeople_EmployeeData), found in the first part of the URL when logged into PeopleHR.

  5. Fill in the template and save it.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Ensure you use the correct format for the columns within the Excel templates as described within the file.

  6. Next to Upload Excel files, click Browse and upload your file.

  7. Click Validate Excel.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Within the templates, we describe each column representing the fields you update when importing data.
