As a PeopleHR administrator, you can import data using bulk actions. In preparation for your data upload, we offer several tips below:
The name of the Excel worksheet you upload logbook data follows this format Logbookscreenname_LogbookData.xls. For example, AgasConsultants_SicknessData.xls.
All the other worksheets follow this format SubDomain_TemplateName.xls. For example, Benefit_LogbookData.xls.
Every row creates a new record.
Do not add, edit or remove columns from the templates.
๐Note: By default, only the Agency option would have a sub-section and this can not be triggered to show for other items.
If uploading an employee with the same employee ID as an existing employee, you override the existing employee record, leavers included.
If employee IDs contain both numbers and letters, change this column format to Text.
Save as a .xls file.
The date format is always DD/MM/YYYY.
The Reason column creates a picklist of reasons.
After you upload the Excel worksheet in data loaders, before completing the import, you need to validate your file. If you get data loader worksheet validation messages, correct your file and validate it again.
