Unable to complete logbook data import due to data loader validation messages.

We compiled below a list with logbook data worksheet validation messages and their description:

Details

'Training' contains dummy data

Ensure you remove all the rows referencing test data through words such as blank, dummy, test and so on.

Please make sure the ‘Start Date’ is before the ‘End Date’

Ensure the training rows have the start date before the end date.

"Employee Id" does not exist

In your logbook worksheet, you have employee IDs that don't match those you store in PeopleHR.

"Column_Name" contains invalid data

Ensure the column highlighted contains data with the same format, order and name as the original worksheet template.

"Column_Name" is Mandatory

Ensure you fill in the column highlighted.

"Column_Name" Cannot be parsed as a valid ‘Date’ value

Ensure the date in the column highlighted has the same format as the original worksheet template and it's not too in the future such as 01/01/2121.

"Column_Name" is required

Ensure your columns store data.

Data Exceeded permissible limit

The data exceeds the character limit of the fields in PeopleHR.

Uploaded File Name should be in "Screen Name>_LogbookData.xls" format (casesensitive)

Ensure you use this format for your import file name: Logbook screen name_LogbookData.xls. For example, AgasConsultants_SicknessData.xls.

Name of single worksheet available in uploaded excel workbook should be "Screen Name>Data"

Ensure the worksheet tab name is correct. For example, if you upload sickness data, the valid name is AppraisalData.

📌Note: The name is case-sensitive with no spaces.
