Context/Rationale

Quick Search

Use the Quick Search widget on the Home tab to highlight commonly used filters.

Go to the Search page. Save one or more filter templates. Switch between templates to quickly reuse different sets of highlighted filters.

The Paragon approach limits you to one template. Perchwell lets you save and switch between multiple templates for different use cases.

Search by Property Type (formerly Class)

Select Class first, then set your other filters.

Open the Property Type dropdown on the search filters page to limit results to one property type.

You can start with any filter, then add Property Type when it matters. This also supports cross property type searches.

Search: Actions for selected listings

Actions like email, print, and export are always visible.

Select one or more listings, then use the actions bar at the top of the page.

This keeps the page clean when nothing is selected and puts all actions in one place once you make a selection.

Add/Edit: Open the Edit Listing form

Edit from Maintain Listings.

Open the Add/Edit form for an existing listing in any of these ways:
1. Go to Manage Listings, then click Edit (pencil).
2. Find the listing in Universal Search, then click Edit on the detail page.
3. Go to DashboardListings widget → click Edit (pencil).

Manage Listings is your hub for editing, publishing, and duplicating listings. Edit is also available on the detail page for faster updates.

Add/Edit: Use one listing entry form for all property types

Use a separate form for each property type.
Once you start, you cannot change the property type.
Submit the listing to see errors.

Use one responsive form. Your selected property type controls which fields appear. Update the property type at any time if you need to.
Follow real time validations and business rules as you complete the form.

This saves you time and makes navigation easier. You get immediate feedback on rule violations and missing required fields.

Client Collaboration: Share listings in Messages

Share listings with clients using a public CollabLink. Clients do not need to log in.

Use Messages for real time client communication, push notifications, listing sharing, and client reactions. Clients must log in.

This improves privacy and security by requiring a login to access conversations and shared content.

Client Collaboration: Update invited client contact details

Edit a client’s email and phone number at any time.
Email is optional when you add a contact.

After you invite a client to Perchwell, only the client can update their email and phone from their account.
Enter an email address when you create a client.

Client access is tied to email login. Changing a client’s email without their knowledge can remove access to their account.

Client Collaboration: View sent emails

Search email history sent from Paragon to each client.

Review sent emails in your own inbox. You are automatically CC’d on outgoing Perchwell emails.

This keeps communication in one place and lets you use your email client’s search, filters, and organization tools.

Dashboard: Create multiple Hot Sheets instead of one Market Monitor

View up to 30 days of activity and filter by MLS, firm, office, team, Class, Type, Area, City, or more.

Use Hot Sheets to filter activity, link to any saved search, and set custom time intervals.
Create and manage multiple Hot Sheets side by side to track different market segments.

Multiple Hot Sheets give you more flexibility to tailor views to your market and your clients.

Search: Use column Templates in results

Create and save custom Spreadsheet report views to change how results display.

Save a column view Template, then apply it while you are viewing search results.

Column Templates let you change your layout without leaving the results page.

Search: Filter by feature categories instead of one combined field

Use one Features field that combines all feature related fields. Selecting multiple features uses OR logic.

Use a separate search filter for each feature category or field. Cross field OR is not supported yet.

This is a change from Paragon. Cross field OR can feel less intuitive and may limit some search workflows.
