What information does the AI need to generate a good quiz?

Which products to select and which quiz settings — depth, emojis, language, brand voice — shape the quiz PerfectMatch's AI generates.

Written by ZP Support Team

The AI reads your product catalog directly from Shopify. You don't write a prompt — just choose which products to include and continue.

The main choice is your product source:

  • Recommended by PerfectMatch — Based on your order history. PerfectMatch analyzes your recent sales and pre-selects the products most worth promoting (see "What is the 'Recommended by PerfectMatch' product source?")

  • Collection — Use an existing collection for fast setup

  • Best sellers — Focus your quiz on your top-selling products

  • Specific products — Hand-pick products for targeted recommendations

The richer and more diverse the product set, the better the quiz — a mix of styles, use cases, and price points gives the AI more to work with.

Quiz settings

Click Quiz settings on the product step to fine-tune the generation:

  • Quiz Depth — Auto, 2 Levels (Quick), 3 Levels, or 4 Levels (Detailed). Deeper quizzes ask more questions and allow finer-grained matching, but take longer to complete

  • Quiz Emojis — Turn emojis on or off in question and answer text

  • Max Products — How many products the quiz can draw from: 30, 40, or 50 (default 30)

  • Language — Auto (detects your store's primary language) or one of 24 languages

  • Brand voice — Describe your brand's tone, or use Auto-fill from my store to detect it from your homepage. The AI uses it to write questions and result copy that sound like you (see "How do brand voice and quiz language work?")

The AI performs best when your products have detailed titles and descriptions. If products have sparse data, consider enriching them in Shopify first.
