No worries! Your pump detected a suction issue. Follow these steps in order to find and fix the cause.

1. Check your bra adjustment
Make sure your pump is held firmly against your breast with no gap between the flange and your skin — but not so tight that your breast feels compressed.
If you see a gap → readjust your bra to hold the pump closer to your breast
If your breast feels compressed → loosen your bra slightly
Not sure what the right pressure feels like? Try holding the pump against your breast by hand and find what feels comfortable while still giving you a good milk flow, then replicate that pressure with your bra
2. Check your valve (the small rubber, beak-shaped piece at the bottom of the connector)
To do this: take the pump off your breast, then open the bottle.
Make sure you didn't forget the valve and that it's fully inserted
Does it look damaged, torn, or deformed?
If it's damaged → replace it. A spare valve was included in your box, or you can order one from our store.
3. Check your diaphragm (the small, round silicone membrane on top of the connector)
Is it properly in place, sitting flat on top of the connector?
If it has come loose or is missing → press it firmly into place until it sits flat and fully seated
If it looks damaged → you can order a new one from our store
4. Check your flange (the silicone part in which you place your breast to pump)
Is it fully clipped onto the connector?
Is it facing the right direction? The large opening should face downward and the small opening upward. You can also check the keyed notch on the connector, it should align with the corresponding indent on the flange
Does it look damaged, cracked, or deformed?
If it's damaged → you can order a new one from our store.
💡 Tip: Replace your parts regularly for best performance: diaphragm every 3 to 6 months, valve every 1 to 3 months.
