How to assemble my Perifit Pump

Step-by-step instructions for putting together your pump

Updated over a week ago

Before you start

Before assembling your pump, make sure of the following:

  • The hub and all the parts are clean and dry.

  • You have all the necessary components: connector, duckbill valve, seal ring (O-ring/joint), diaphragm, and bottle.

  • None of the parts are damaged or missing. If needed, a spare joint and a spare valve are available in your Perifit Pump accessories bag.

Step-by-Step Assembly Guide

Step 1: Insert the Valve into the Connector

  • First, check the duckbill valve. Gently press its sides to make sure it opens.
⚠️ It’s normal for the valve to appear closed when at rest, but if it stays sealed shut even when squeezed, try the spare one included in your accessories bag or contact our support team.

  • Check that the duckbill valve is properly pushed into the connector

Step 2: Add the Seal Ring

  • Place the small seal ring (O-ring/joint) around the groove of the connector.

  • Make sure it's securely positioned all the way around.
⚠️ If you lose it, there is a spare ring in your accessories bag.

Step 3: Place the Diaphragm

  • Place the diaphragm on the top of the connector.

  • Use your finger to press around the edges and make sure it is evenly and securely in place.

Step 4: Attach the Flange

  • Make sure the small hole in the flange is facing upwards (toward the diaphragm), and the larger hole is facing downwards (toward the bottle connection).

  • Align the two dots on the flange with the two dots on the connector to make sure it’s inserted correctly.

💡 Note: Depending on the batch, there may be slight design variations in the flange. However, the way it fits and functions will always be the same.

  • Make sure the flange is fully inserted.

Step 6: Insert the Assembly into the Shell

Start by aligning the circular top of the connector with the internal ring of the shell.

Then, gently rotate the bottom part of the connector slightly forward (toward the hub).
✅ You should hear a click when it's fully in place.

Step 7: Check the Diaphragm Seal

Look inside the shell to make sure the diaphragm is tightly pressed against the shell wall.

Step 8: Attach the Milk Bottle

Screw the milk bottle onto the bottom of the connector.

Your Perifit Pump is ready to use!
