How can I use a domain for my funnel that is already connected?

In this article, you’ll learn the exact steps on how you can use your verified domain to publish your funnel.

Every funnel comes with a pre-installed domain which makes it easier for you to publish your funnel in a short amount of time.

If you wish to use your own domain instead, you can easily connect it to your Perspective account and use it to publish all your funnels there. To walk you through the connecting process, we have created a step-by-step instruction guide for you here.

How to use your own verified domain for funnels

  1. Open your funnel and navigate to the menu bar at the top (in the “Publish” section). Then, click on “Create Link” in the top right corner.

  2. Click on “Edit link” as shown in the screenshot below

  3. Select the domain you have previously linked to your Perspective account.

  4. If you like, you can now change the path of the link by adjusting the so-called Slug at the end of the Funnel link.

    Here you have 2 options:

    Customize Slug

    By customizing the slug for each of your funnels individually, you can run different funnels on the same domain and don't need a separate domain for each funnel.

    Click on Edit Link, double-click on the sequence of numbers and letters, and then write what you want to have there. For example, "jobs".

    Then your domain will look like this: demo.perspectivefunnel.com/jobs

    Remove Slug

    From our Business Plan onwards, you can also completely remove the slug to keep your funnel link as short and simple as possible.

    Then click on "Save Link"

  5. This link is now added to your own domain. In the last step, you simply have to click on "Publish now".

​Congratulations on your new link!

​Once everything is published, you can open your funnel, share it with others and include it in your ads or emails - simply by clicking on the link.

Note 💡

In case you cannot access the funnel yet, please don’t be alarmed. Depending on the domain provider, the recognition of the CNAME entry can take up to 24 hours. Therefore, you might have to wait a little bit longer until the funnel becomes visible on your domain.
