Once your funnel is published and you open the link to the live funnel in your browser, A/B testing is already active. What it means is that you can either see the original or the changed version of your homepage. To view the changed version of your page in the live funnel, you need to access the URL of that page directly.

Here's how it works:

  • Click on the Page Menu in the editor of your funnel (3 dots).

  • Then, select "Edit URL," and a modal will open.

  • Copy the slug that appears at the end of your page’s URL and close the modal.

  • Next, open your live funnel in the browser and click in the URL field.

  • Paste the previously copied slug at the end of your page’s URL in the live funnel and confirm the entry to reload your page.

  • You can now access the alternative page to review and test it.

How does the traffic distribution between the original and variant work?

Your funnel distributes visitors in a 50/50 ratio between the original and variant. This is achieved through a specific distribution mechanism, which aims to evenly allocate the ratio of all visitors between both sides as effectively as possible.

Why is the distribution ratio not exactly 50/50?

The reason is simple: At the exact time of funnel visits, many visitors can access a funnel simultaneously, making it challenging to guarantee that the distribution remains in an exact ratio. Moreover, the ratio can also be influenced by sending visitors to the URL of either the original or the variant intentionally .
