What reminders do we have?
ā€‹
We'll notify you when you have a health task due. To activate these, we need you to give us permission to send you push notifications. They will make sure you donā€™t forget health tasks when you need to complete them and remind you that every task you complete on time is another chance to win rewards!

Why am I not getting reminders?
ā€‹
You may need to turn notifications on in your phone's settings. To do this, simply go to Settings on your home screen, then to Notifications, and then find our app in the list. Open it and switch ā€œAllow Notificationsā€ on.

Why am I getting so many reminders?
ā€‹
Because we care about you very much! If you havenā€™t recorded that you have completed your task, we send you a follow up reminder half an hour after it was due just to make sure you complete it and donā€™t miss the chance to win rewards. If you would like to prevent this second follow up you can turn it off in Notification Settings. Once you're there, toggle Medication Reminder OFF ā€“ donā€™t worry, this wonā€™t get rid of the main reminder at the time your task is due, just the second follow up.

Battery optimisation - Android

To save battery, Android devices may try to prioritise/limit notifications that they think are not essential. If you have checked that notifications are enabled both in your phone settings and in the app, but are still not receiving all/any of your notifications, please go into 'You' > Settings > Notifications in the app and make sure that 'on-time reminders' is toggled ON.

By enabling the 'on-time reminders' setting, the phone flags the notifications from the Perx app as time-sensitive and lets them through.

Can I change the reminder notification sound?
