Points are awarded for each task you complete, whereas a Heart is rewarded for completing all your tasks for the day. For example, if you have scheduled both a physical activity task and a medication task but you only do one of these tasks, you would receive some points but no heart for the day.

Earning more points allows you to level up and this enables you to unlock different rewards. Hearts can then add these rewards to your reward pool. Think of levels like unlocking new doors and hearts as the keys to open them. Learn more about the rewards pool here.
