What this is
Crop Plan Import reads the rendered pages of an Agworld report and brings the records into Phase. It handles both report types in one place:
A Planned Season report becomes crop plans.
A Farm Performance report becomes completed season history.
Phase detects the report type from the document and lets you switch it before importing. It checks each paddock's extracted figures against the report's printed totals and automatically reads a paddock again if the numbers do not reconcile.

Upload the report
Step 1 — Open Crop Plan Import and upload the Agworld PDF.
Step 2 — Stay on the page for a minute or two while Phase renders and reads the report. A five-step walkthrough explains the process on first open.
Step 3 — Check whether Phase selected Planned Season or Farm Performance. Switch it if the report was detected incorrectly.
Step 4 — Wait for the figure checks to finish. Phase compares what it read with the totals printed in the report and automatically reads a mismatched paddock again.
Step 5 — Review paddock matching, then confirm the import only when the paddocks and report type are correct.
The source PDF is filed privately under More → Documents after import.
Review paddocks
Paddock matching is the main decision the importer needs from you. For each source paddock:
Accept the suggested Phase paddock when it is correct.
Choose a different existing paddock when the suggestion is wrong.
Create a new paddock from the printed name and area.
Skip a paddock that should not be imported.
For a new farm, Add all as new paddocks creates all unmatched paddocks in one step. Review the names and areas before continuing.
Products, activities and costs
Products link automatically by name where possible. If a product is not already linked to a farm or library product, Phase can still import its printed name, rate and cost. You do not need to stop and build the product library just to retain complete plan or history figures.
Spraying, seeding, spreading, harvest and lease operations can import with their printed rate, cost per hectare and totals. After import, link or tidy any name-only products in Inventory when you want labels, SDS, stock and future matching to connect to them.
What the two report types create
With Planned Season, Phase creates planned crop activities for the detected season. Open Crop Plan Studio and a sample of paddock plans after import to check crops, activities, rates and costs.
With Farm Performance, Phase creates completed season history. Check several paddocks against the source report after import. Imported history does not deduct products from current Inventory.
If you prefer the established detailed actuals workflow, use More → Planning & Imports → Actuals Import.
If the report needs another read
Leave Crop Plan Import open while it is reading. Reports with scrambled embedded text can still work because Phase reads the visible rendered pages rather than relying on the PDF's text layer.
If a paddock's extracted figures do not match the report's printed total, Phase automatically reads that paddock again. If it still needs attention, compare the paddock name, activity totals and report type before importing. A clearer exported PDF can help when the visible page itself is damaged or incomplete.
After importing
Compare several paddocks with the PDF, including one with many activities or unusual rates. Check the season, crop, activity names, products, units, rates, costs and totals. Correct any farm records that need attention before relying on reports or inventory demand.
