Purpose: Banners are a great way to start a section with a decorative image and some instructive text. They are also useful for breaking up a very long form within a section, making it more visually appealing and easier to navigate.
Adding a Banner to a Template
When you are in a Template, ensure you have a Page selected, then click "Banner" at the bottom of the screen. This will add a new Banner to your Template.
Configuring Banners
Banner Name/Title
Give your Banner a Name via the Inspector.
Alignment
Banners have two alignment options: Left aligned and Right aligned. Use the toggle in the Inspector to switch between these modes. The toggle and text inputs will move to illustrate the banner mode within the editor when you change modes.
Banner Content
Banners have two sections:
Text Content - define a title and text based content to show within your Banner.
Image - upload an image that will be displayed next to the text content area. You can click to upload an image or drag and drop an image into this area.
By configuring banners effectively, you can enhance the visual appeal of your templates and provide clear instructions or information to users. Banners are versatile components that can be used to highlight important sections or break up long forms for better readability.
