Follow these step-by-step instructions to activate and configure the Pineraffle widget on your Shopify store.
Important note: This step is required once you have completed setting up the raffle. Please click here to learn how to create a raffle.
The Pineraffle widget is a component that is visible to your store customers. The customer interacts with the panel to view the details about the raffle, see the price image, the price information, count of winners, among other things.

Activation of the Pineraffle widget:
After creating your raffle, the application will redirect you to the Raffle Status page. In the Running tab, you will find the option to customize the storefront widget. Click on the Customize button.

After clicking Customize, Shopify will direct you to the Theme Customizer page of your store. On the left-hand panel of the dashboard, you'll find the "App Embeds" section. Navigate to the Pineraffle app and toggle the switch next to the Pineraffle app. This step is essential for activating the widget and making it available for your store. If left unchecked, the Pineraffle widget will not appear on your store.

We can further configure the Pineraffle widget by expanding the settings panel of the Pineraffle app customizer. At first glance, you will notice that many fields are already auto-filled, but you can edit them as needed.
Customizing the Pineraffle main widget - Button Title / Show Prize Name
Button Title:
This is the text on the bar that users click to open the widget. You can make this something catchy or fun to grab attention!
Show Prize Name:
A check box that allows you to show the Price Name that you have set up on the raffle form. When checked, the Pineraffle widget will prominently displayed the prize name.
You can also add a cover image of the prize, adjust its height, and include a message of the prize. The text to show on the top of the opened widget.
Prize Explanation:
This section offers detailed information about the raffle prize. When the customers click on the Learn More icon on the widget.

Raffle joining Instructions:
Order Value Raffle
if you choose Order Amount as Raffle type during the raffle creation process. Then the following text instructions will be helpful to customers to provide additional context.
How to Join Message (Order Value): Instructions for joining the raffle based on the order amount,
Amount Left Note: Shows how much more a customer needs to spend to qualify for a ticket.
Got Ticket Note: Indicates when a customer has qualified for a raffle ticket based on their cart value.

If you have created a raffle of type Email. Then this is where you can capture the instructions for the customer to see on your store.

Raffle End Information
If you check on “Show raffle end information then this feature provides details about the conclusion of the raffle. It informs participants when the raffle will end, either on a specific date or after a certain number of tickets have been sold. This ensures that users are aware of the timeframe for participation and can make
timely decisions to enter the raffle.
Message for Date-Based Raffle:
This text is displayed to participants when the raffle has a predetermined end date. It communicates the exact date and time when the raffle will close, helping participants understand the timeline for their entries. This information is crucial for encouraging users to participate before the raffle concludes, ensuring they don't miss the opportunity to win.
End Date Format to User:
This feature allows you to select how the end date of the raffle is displayed to participants. You can customise the format to enhance clarity, using options such as "MM/DD/YYYY," "DD/MM/YYYY," or other common formats. This ensures that participants can easily understand the end date of the raffle, which is essential for timely participation.
Message for Raffle Ending After Number of Participants:
This text is displayed to participants when the raffle is configured to close once a certain number of tickets have been sold. It informs users that the raffle will not be open indefinitely but will end as soon as the specified ticket limit is reached. This message encourages participants to act quickly to secure their entries before the raffle concludes, emphasising the urgency of participating in the raffle while tickets are still available.
Text Colour:
This feature allows you to select the colour of the text displayed for raffle information.
- Light: Choosing this option will display the text in a lighter colour, which can be effective for dark backgrounds and can create a softer visual appearance.
- Dark: Selecting this option will show the text in a darker colour, making it suitable for light backgrounds and ensuring high contrast for better readability.
Raffle Widget - Prize Info Popup
This feature provides users with a pop-up that displays important information
about the raffle prize.
Prize Info Title Text:
This title appears at the top of the prize info pop-up. It serves to grab the user's attention and clearly identify the prize being discussed.
Show Additional Prize Info Page Link:
This option allows you to include a link to a separate page with more detailed information about the prize. This is useful for providing in-depth descriptions, specifications, or any other relevant details that might interest participants.
