We've introduced a range of improvements across Pinpoint Works to deliver a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
Enhanced Control Over Custom Field Editability
We're excited to introduce a new feature that gives you greater control over the integrity of your data. You can now customise which Custom Fields are editable on your Point Cards, helping ensure that key values remain consistent once set.
Within Site Settings, simply use the new padlock icon to toggle fields between:
Locked – Prevents edits to the field on the Point Card
Unlocked – Allows the field to be edited as needed

Granular Filtering for Exported Content
You can now export comments within a specific date range, allowing you to generate more targeted and relevant reports. This added precision ensures your exports include only the data you need.
To support this improvement, we've also redesigned the filtering controls for images—aligning them with the new date range updates to provide a more consistent and intuitive user experience
Saved Views Now Retain Group State
Saved Views just got smarter. When saving a view—whether in the Site Table or Overview—the current group state (collapsed or expanded) is now preserved.
This means your preferred layout is automatically re-applied every time you return to the view or share it with your team, saving you time and keeping everyone aligned.
Dashlet Display & Accuracy Improvements
We’ve introduced a set of enhancements to make Dashlets more informative and reliable:
Budget Dashlet: Tooltips now dynamically reflect the selected Custom Field, so you can confirm your comparison settings —without opening the configuration panel.
Value by List Dashlet: Cost values are now comma-separated (e.g., $1,000,000) to improve readability.
Currency symbols will now consistently appear, regardless of the amount.
Information Icons for Custom Field Descriptions
To make Custom Field descriptions easier to find and understand, we’ve added a clear Info icon next to any field that has a description.
Instead of hovering over the field name, you can now hover over the icon to instantly view the field's intended purpose—helping to reduce errors and improve clarity when entering or editing values.
