Organise your custom fields into groups so the point card stays tidy and the information your team needs is easy to find.
Custom Field Groups
Custom field groups can be created by the Site’s Admin user by selecting ‘Manage Custom Fields’ from the Site Settings icon. If you do not see this icon, you are not an Admin user.
Groups let you collect related custom fields under one heading, for example, grouping Warranty Status, Next Service Date and Supplier under a group called “Maintenance”. Groups appear, so users see related information together instead of scrolling a long list.
Examples:
Maintenance (Warranty Status, Next Service Date, Supplier)
Costs (Quote, Final Invoice, Variation)
Inventory (Size, Stock)
Site Details (Location, Assigned To).
Note: Grouping only changes how fields are organised and displayed. Existing data, filters and sorting are not affected.
Custom Field Group How To:
Create a Custom Field Group
Select the Site Settings icon, then ‘Manage Custom Fields’.

A field can only belong to one group at a time, and existing fields can be moved between groups.

Admin users can rearrange groups by hovering over the item, then clicking and holding the hand icon to drag and drop it into the preferred position.
Head back to the work list page, add a new point or edit any current point and you will now be able to see the custom field group where you chose to position it in the list, within the manage your custom fields page:
Edit and Delete a Custom Field Group
Admin users can edit a group using the three dots icon. Groups can also be deleted using the three dots icon and selecting 'Ungroup' and then when its empty you will be able to delete the group:
Show or Hide a Group
Toggle the 👁️ eye on a custom field within a group to show or hide it, or select the three dots to hide or lock all fields within it. Hidden groups follow the same rules as hidden fields, which don’t appear in Point Cards.
Import Custom Field Groups
Custom field Groups will also pull through to a new site when you import a custom field that is apart of a Custom Field Group. Groups, like fields, are set up per site but can be imported to others to save time.
