What is Security Authentication?

Security Authentication in Pionex Card is a transaction authorization feature that allows you to verify your online purchases through multiple methods, ensuring a smoother and more secure payment experience. By default, the Pionex Card uses SMS verification

. If you frequently having trouble receiving SMS messages, you can switch to in-app authorization for a more reliable verification process.

SMS Verification

When a transaction requiring verification is detected, the system will automatically send a verification code to your registered mobile number. Please follow the steps below to complete the process:

Step 1: Check your registered phone number for the SMS verification code.

Step 2: Enter the code on the verification page. Once the code is verified, the transaction will proceed.

In-App Push Verification

When verification is required, the system will send a push notification or in-app alert via the Pionex App, prompting you to confirm the transaction and ensuring that all actions are performed by you. Follow these steps to complete the verification:

Step 1: Check the Pionex App for a push notification or look for pending verification messages on the app’s homepage.

Step 2: If no notification is received, you can manually access pending authorization requests:

Open the Pionex App → Pionex Card → Management → Security Authentication

Step 3: On the transaction detail page, review the request and choose either "Confirm Transaction" or "Reject" based on its legitimacy. Important Reminder: If the transaction was not initiated by you, please select "Reject" immediately to protect your account.

Step 4: After confirming the authorization, click "Approve" on the 3DS page to proceed with the transaction. If rejected, it will be immediately canceled.

Important Reminders

  • If a verification request is not completed within 10 minutes, it will automatically expire and the related transaction will be canceled.

  • Keep your verification codes, passwords, and card details secure. Never disclose them to any third party.

  • If you receive a verification request for an action you did not initiate, reject it immediately and contact Pionex customer support without delay.
