The withdrawal whitelist is a Pionex account security feature. Once enabled, your account can only withdraw to addresses you have pre-specified; any other addresses will be rejected by the system.
How Does It Protect Your Assets?
Even if someone obtains your account password, they cannot transfer funds to addresses outside the whitelist. Adding or modifying whitelist addresses requires completing email, SMS, and Google Authenticator verification — without your active participation, no one can pass these verifications.
What's the Difference Between the Whitelist and the Address Book?
Address Book: Stores frequently used addresses for convenient input; does not restrict which addresses you can withdraw to
Whitelist: A security switch; once enabled, withdrawals are only permitted to addresses on the whitelist
Important Notes
After adding a new withdrawal address to the whitelist, you must wait 24 hours before it can be used for withdrawals
Deposits are not affected by the whitelist
Internal transfers are also subject to whitelist restrictions — if the destination address is not on the whitelist, the transfer cannot be completed
