Step 1: Go to the API Trading Page
Open pionex.com and log in to your account. Click the "More" menu in the top navigation bar, then find and click "API Trading" under the Products section.
Step 2: Open Pionex Docs
Once on the API Trading page, you will see the Pionex Docs portal. Click the "AI Kit Docs" card to enter the documentation section for AI tool integration.
Step 3: Follow the MCP Quickstart Guide
In the left sidebar of AI Kit Docs, click "MCP Quickstart". This page explains how to install the Pionex MCP Server into your AI tool of choice.
If you are using Claude Desktop, follow the steps under the "Installation (Claude Desktop)" section:
Download the
pionex-mcp.mcpbfile from the latest GitHub Release linkDouble-click the file — Claude Desktop will open an install dialog automatically
Enter your Pionex API Key and Secret when prompted
Done — Pionex tools are now available in Claude Desktop
Step 4: Download the pionex-mcp.mcpb File
Clicking the link will take you to the GitHub Releases page. Locate the latest release (currently v0.2.57), then click pionex-mcp.mcpb under the Assets section to download the file.
Once downloaded, return to the instructions in Step 3 to complete the installation.
Next Steps
After installing the .mcpb file, follow the instructions on the Pionex Docs page to finish setting up your API Key and connection. To create an API Key, go to your account settings on the Pionex web version.
Note: API connection is only supported on the web version of Pionex. The mobile app is not supported. Please use a browser to access pionex.com.
