How to Set Up a Pitchly-to-Pitchly Integration

Effortlessly Synchronize Data Between Pitchly Accounts for Enhanced Workflow and Efficiency"

Overview

Integrating Pitchly with Pitchly allows you to seamlessly copy and manage data within a single account or across two separate Pitchly accounts. This guide will help you configure the integration to ensure accurate and efficient data synchronization between the desired accounts.

Note: You must have Admin permissions to configure integrations.

Step 1: Start the Integration Setup

  1. Navigate to the Admin home view in your Pitchly account.

  2. Select the Integrations tab on the left sidebar.

  3. In the Integrations Marketplace, locate the Pitchly tile and click Connect.

Step 2: Authenticate with Pitchly

When you click to connect the source or destination account, follow these steps if you have not connected an account before:

  1. A pop-up window will appear with a Connect Account option.

  2. In the new window, you’ll be asked if you are the account holder:

    • If you are the account holder:
Enter your Pitchly credentials to log in and complete the authentication process.

    • If you are not the account holder:
You’ll be taken to a screen where you can copy a Share URL. Provide this URL to the administrator of the Pitchly account.
Once the administrator completes the secure authentication, you’ll receive an email confirmation.

  3. After authentication, return to the integration setup in your Pitchly account.

Important: The administrator of the target Pitchly account must have the required permissions to access the data for integration.

Step 3: Select the Source Workspace and Table

Define the data to be copied from the source account:

  1. In the integration setup, identify the specific workspace and table in the source Pitchly account that contains the data you want to integrate.

  2. Select Source Workspace: Choose the workspace containing the desired table for integration.

  3. Select Source Table: Choose the table from which the data will be copied.

  4. Create separate automations for each table you wish to integrate.

Step 4: Set the Destination Workspace and Table

Define where the data will reside in the target account:

  1. In the Configure Destination screen, select Pitchly under Choose Service.

  2. Select your target Pitchly account from the dropdown or click Connect Account to authenticate.

  3. Follow the authentication steps outlined in Step 2 if the account has not been connected.

  4. Select Workspace: Choose the workspace in the target Pitchly account where the data should appear. Only users with access to this workspace will be able to manage the data.

  5. Select Table: Choose the specific table in the selected workspace where the data will be stored. Ensure that the table has the required fields to receive the incoming data.

  6. Select a Unique Identifier: Use a unique field such as an ID to match records between the source and target accounts.

Step 5: Map Fields

Map fields between the source and target accounts for seamless data transfer:

  1. Match each source field (left column) with the corresponding target field (right column).

  2. Confirm that data types (e.g., text, date) align between both tables.

  3. If custom fields are being synchronized, ensure these fields exist in the target table and are correctly mapped.

Click Finish once all fields are mapped.

Step 6: Turn On the Integration

Activate the integration to begin data synchronization:

  1. Click Turn On to start the automation immediately.

  2. Click Not Now to save your setup and activate it later.

Tip: Pitchly automations run on a default five-minute sync interval. To adjust this interval, refer to the Pitchly Automation Run Intervals guide.

Managing Your Pitchly-to-Pitchly Integration

After setup, the integration will run based on your configurations. To make changes, navigate to the Integrations tab and select Automations from the top menu. Locate the appropriate automation, and click the three dots on the right hand side. Select Modify.

Troubleshooting

If issues arise, follow these steps:

  • Verify that the source and target accounts have the necessary permissions for data sharing.

  • Ensure all required fields in the target table are correctly mapped.

  • Check the unique identifier configuration for accurate data syncing.
