Permanently Delete a Template in the Elements App

How to permanently delete a template from the Elements app

Selecting the trash icon will archive the open template. The option to archive and restore templates gives users access to previous templates. If you do not foresee the need to use or build off the template later, you can permanently delete it. Exercise caution when doing so, this action is irreversible and you will not be able to recover the template.

Users with Admin or Elements designer permissions have the ability to permanently delete templates.

1.

Open the Elements app from the apps side panel (or apps home screen if you’re a non-admin user)

Click Manage templates

From the Manage templates window, open the template you want to delete

*Proceed to step 6 if the template is already archived

Click the trash can icon to archive the template

From the pop-up box, click OK

In the Manage Templates window, click the More options icon denoted by

Click Show deleted templates

8.

Click the vertical three-dot icon to the right of the template name

Click Permanently delete

From the pop-up box, click OK

11.

Once your template is restored, click Go back to active templates
