Authenticate Your Salesforce Account in Pitchly

Connect your Salesforce environment securely to Pitchly

Before syncing records from Salesforce to Pitchly, you must authenticate a Salesforce account using credentials from your organization’s Salesforce app. This enables Pitchly to access data through a secure OAuth connection.

Permissions Required

  • Pitchly: Admin access required

  • Salesforce: Requires a configured Salesforce Connected App

IMPORTANT: You must first complete the setup within Salesforce before authenticating the account in Pitchly. See: Set Up Salesforce for Integration with Pitchly

Step 1: Access the Salesforce Integration

  1. Log in to Pitchly with an Admin account.

  2. Select the Integrations tab from the left navigation.

  3. Locate the Salesforce tile and click Connect.

Step 2: Confirm Sync Type

  1. On the Configure Source screen, confirm that Salesforce is selected in the From dropdown.

  2. In the I want to sync dropdown, leave the default selection: Records.

Step 3: Connect a Salesforce Account

  1. In the With the account dropdown, click Connect a New Account.

  2. In the window that appears:

    • Enter your Salesforce Subdomain

      • This must be the Classic subdomain, not Lightning.

      • It typically looks like: yourcompany.my.salesforce.com

    • Enter your Consumer Key

    • Enter your Consumer Secret

  3. Click Next.

Step 4: Confirm Account Ownership

Pitchly will ask: “Are you the owner of this Salesforce account?”

Choose one of the following options:

Yes, I am

  • Pitchly will authenticate the account using the credentials you provided.

  • Once authorized, you will return to Pitchly to complete your setup.

No, I'm not

  1. Copy the secure authorization URL.

  2. Share the URL with your Salesforce administrator.

  3. Click Done.

The Salesforce admin must:

  • Open the secure link

  • Log into the Salesforce environment

NOTE: You will receive an email confirmation once the admin has completed the authorization. You can then continue setup in Pitchly.
