Before you can sync data from Dynamics 365 into Pitchly, you must authenticate your organization's Dynamics account. This authentication enables Pitchly to securely communicate with your Dynamics environment through Microsoft Entra.
Permissions Required
Pitchly: Admin access required
IMPORTANT: You must first complete the setup steps within Microsoft Entra before authenticating your Dynamics account. See: Set Up Dynamics 365 for Integration with Pitchly
Step 1: Access the Dynamics Integration
Log in to Pitchly with an Admin account.
Select the Integrations tab from the left navigation.
Locate the Dynamics tile and click Connect.
Step 2: Choose to Sync Records or Picklists
On the Configure Source screen, confirm that Dynamics is selected in the From dropdown.
In the I want to sync dropdown, select either:
Records (default): to sync data such as Accounts, Contacts, or Opportunities
Picklists: to sync picklist values into a Pitchly dropdown field
NOTE: If you are unsure which to select, start with Records. You can return and configure a separate automation later for picklist syncing.
Step 3: Connect a Dynamics 365 Account
In the With the account dropdown, click Connect a New Account.
In the window that appears:
Enter your Tenant ID (Directory ID)
Enter the Client ID (Application ID)
Enter the Client Secret (generated in Microsoft Entra)
Enter your Dynamics Environment URL, such as:
โhttps://your-org-name.crm.dynamics.com
Click Next.
Step 4: Select Account Ownership
Pitchly will ask: โAre you the owner of this Dynamics 365 account?โ
Choose one of the following options:
Yes, I am
Pitchly will authenticate the account immediately using the credentials you provided.
After authorization, you'll be returned to Pitchly to complete your integration setup.
No, I'm not
Copy the secure URL provided.
Share the link with your Dynamics 365 administrator.
Click Done.
The Dynamics administrator must:
Open the shared URL
Log into the Dynamics 365 environment to complete the authentication
NOTE: You will receive an email confirmation once the admin has completed the authentication. At that point, you may return to Pitchly to finish setting up your sync automation.
