Open the Pitchly Add-in
First, make sure the add-in is downloaded to your device.
Open Microsoft PowerPoint.
From the Home ribbon, click the Pitchly "P" icon to open the add-in.
Make sure you are signed into your Pitchly account.
Select Your Content Source
Once the add-in is open:
Use the dropdown menus to select:
Workspace
Table
Template
Click Filter to filter records just as you would in the Pitchly web application.
Optionally, click Sort Order to apply a sort to your selected content.
Select the elements or records you want to export one by one or by clicking Select all in view.
Click the purple Export Arrow icon.
Export Options
The add-in provides two export options:
Slides
Slide Elements
Option 1: Export as Slides
The Slides option inserts new slides into your presentation using your selected Pitchly content.
How It Works
Choose Slides under export type.
Select where the new slides should be inserted using the Insertion Point dropdown:
After last slide
After selected slide
Before selected slide
Adjust dimensions, page margins, and over settings. If your team has saved presets, click the the Open Presets icon to make a selection from your approved list.
4. Click Show Preview to review content before insertion.
5. Once all looks correct, click Export.
Option 2: Export as Slide Elements
The Slide Elements option inserts content directly into the slide you are currently viewing.
How It Works
Navigate to the slide where you want the content inserted.
Choose Slide Elements from the export type dropdown.
Add a border if applicable
To insert Elements, leave Auto Fit Elements as yes
If you wish to insert a shape placeholder on your slide to indicate where Pitchly should place the selected content, do that before exporting
Click Complete Export to export the content.
Pitchly will use the placeholder shape to determine where the selected content should fit within the slide layout.
Tips
Ensure you are on the correct slide before using Slide Elements.
Use filtering and sorting to control exactly which records are exported.
Use Preview and Export to confirm your selection before insertion.
