After setup you might notice that your Plaato Keg reports a temperature that is higher than the actual ambient temperature. This is a design compromise that had to be made in order to make a waterproof product.
There is no ventilation or air-flow within the Plaato Keg, so therefore heat from the internal circuitry affect the temperature sensors. This will cause the temperature to gradually increase until it reaches a maximum after a few hours of use. Not to worry, you can offset the temperature on the "Debug" screen
Temperature Offset
Although the temperature difference does affect the functionality of your Keg, it is important to note that your beverage is stored at the correct temperature.
When the temperature stops increasing, measure the difference in temperature between your Plaato Keg and the temperature measured by an external thermometer.
Use the "Temperature Offset"-option to calibrate the temperature reading.
