If a member pays you directly, say in cash at the gate, you can record that payment manually so it shows up correctly in your club's financial records.
How to record a manual payment
On the Treasury screen, tap the three-dot (⋮) menu.
Select Record a Manual Payment from the bottom sheet.
Select the member the payment is for.
Under "What was it for?", choose a category: Shop, Membership, Event, Form, Facility, or Custom.
Depending on the category you picked, "What was purchased?" loads the matching items to choose from. For example, choosing Event opens a list of your club's events.
Fill in the payment details:
Amount: automatically filled in from the item you selected, except for Custom, where you enter it yourself
Payment method: Cash, Cheque, Direct Debit or Standing Order, Point of Sale, Bank Transfer, or Other
Date: defaults to today. You can't select a future date, since this is money you've already received
Tap Record a Manual Payment to save it.
If you choose Custom
Selecting Custom under "What was it for?" reveals a free-text description field and an editable amount field, useful for anything that doesn't fit the standard categories.
Good to know
The submit button stays disabled until every required field is filled in.
Recording a manual payment does not notify the member. Since you've already received the money in person, there's nothing for them to be told.
If you change categories after already picking a product, "What was purchased?" resets so you can pick again for the new category.
There's no automatic check for duplicates. If you record the same payment twice by mistake, both will save, so it's worth double-checking before you submit.
Note: If the item or member you selected is no longer available by the time you submit, you'll be asked to make a new selection.
