Create packages and build plans with them
Planniac allows you to create packages to sell groups of activities to your guests, rather than one-by-one.

Decide what packages to offer
Mirror the marketing packages you already have
Packages can mirror your marketing packages. For example, let's say you are selling a "Honeymoon Adventure Package" that includes transfers, two tours, a bottle of bubbly and a couples' massage with a room reservation. You would want to create a package with the same name on Planniac that included:
Arrival transfer
Bubbly in room
Tour 1
Tour 2
Couples' massage
Departure transfer
Create packages to upsell at check-in
In other cases, prior to arriving or at check-in, you might have an opportunity to upsell packages to guests. For example, you might bundle 3 of your most popular tours:
Tour 1
Tour 2
Tour 3
Set up packages in Resources
Steps to set up a Standard Package:
Go to Resources and select “+” Add Activity
Select “Package” from the dropdown menu. The Package Manager window will appear
Select the primary provider of the package, normally:
your own property or
another Resource (tour operator/travel agent) who provides a packaged service.
Decide whether the package is a Fixed Price Package or Sum of Activities Pricing
Select the activities you would like to include in the package, for example arrival and departure transfers, tours, spa, etc.
Select the actual resource for each activity (remember with "Sum of Activities Pricing" the selection of each supplier may affect the total package price)
Arrange the activities in the order they are typically done
Save
Close
Add Packages to the Planns dashboard
Once you are ready to book a package for a guest, you do that from the PLANNS screen by selecting "Package" from the dropdown menu.
You'll select the guest reservation and date as usual. Then you'll see all the package options that you've set up in Resources, plus an option to build a Custom Package.
You can use a Standard Package that you created in Resources. In this case you would simply add the dates and times to complete the package booking.
You can modify a Standard Package by selecting the package you want to start with, and then adding or removing activities as needed to customize the package for the particular guest. Any modifications here do not modify the original standard package. This option will not be available for a package that was set up as a Fixed Price Package.
Alternatively, you can create a new Custom Package for the guest booking. Here you are presented with a blank package form and can add any number and sequence of tours, transfers, activities etc.
