Overview of Planniac Upsell
This is an attractive page that offers your services and curated experiences. When this feature is activated, you can link to this page from your public website, and you can send a direct link from Planniac to a guest on record.

Go to Admin Settings > Planniac Upsell and click Edit Groupings
Create Groupings that make sense to your business, like Tours, Transfers, Events, Weddings, Beach Equipment, Room Extras, Massage, etc.
These Groupings do not have to be the same as your Planniac activity types or parent names. These are to help the guests find what they are looking for.

Create or select an activity as usual
Go to the Planniac Upsell tab
Activate the "Show on Planniac Upsell Page" toggle switch
Complete the information fields
Switch the toggles to offer this activity to guests, non-guests or both
Give it an enticing name
Select a grouping (tour, transfer, massage, etc.)
Is there a default status? We suggest Needs Review or another status that clearly shows the activity requires followup.
Assign a default vendor (not visible to guest)
Write a marketing description of the activity (the guest will see this)
Upload an attractive .jpg or .png photo
Indicate the days of the week this activity is available
Complete the other information on the page that will affect the Upsell:
Name the resources providing the activity
Include standard start and finish time, if any
Include standard itinerary information (ie what's included, what to bring, how to dress)
On the far left, indicate whether the tour is:
Private
Not available for children
Not available for adults
Very Important: Sold per person, per item or per room
Ensure your pricing is correct
Remember to price the activities in your Cloudbeds currency
Include pricing for children (otherwise they could book at $0)
Complete the standard information that will appear automatically when the plans are made, like
Standard itinerary notes
Standard start and end times
Does a Pack Meal need to be provided by the hotel?

Drag the upsells to put them in the sort order you prefer.
Hint: Consider these things to make your Upsell page really pop!
The first three items will be seen first and are most important. Try to select three upsells that represent your best offerings, for example one transfer, one tour and one spa service.
Try to get variety in your photos. For example, different zoom levels and overall photo colors.

Upsell hotel guest link template
This is the email that you can send from the Guests page of Planniac.
Upsell non-guest link template
This email is generated when someone not staying at your hotel requests an activity from your Upsell page
Upsell booking request confirmation - Hotel Guests is the email automatically generated after a future guest of your hotel requests activities from your Upsell page.
Upsell booking request confirmation - Outside Guests is the email automatically generated after a non-guest of your hotel requests activities from your Upsell page.

On Admin Settings > General Settings, you can customize the colors to reflect your brand
On Admin Settings > Business Information you can upload your hotel logo so that guests know they are booking activities directly with you.
Don't forget to also upload your guest itinerary banner

Go to the Guests page and retrieve a guest record
Find the Planniac Upsell section
Copy the link or use Send to Guest to automatically send the template email.

Use the following link exactly as it appears here. Just replace the xxxxx with your Cloudbeds hotel ID. (make sure you get everything including the [conf number] with the space.

Non-guests will be directed to your Offers & Experiences page where they can enter some personal details and request services and experiences from your property. You can do this if you:
The first way is to go to the home page of Planniac and follow the instructions for sending a link.
Copy the link
If you already know the outside guest's email address, you can send the link invitation in an automated email. See the demo. Then the guest will be greeted by name β a very personalized experience!
A second way is to go to the Outside Guests page and create a new Outside Guest or select from the list, then use the button to copy the link or send an email.
And finally, you can provide the link to the page on your site. The link will be https://experiences.planniac.com/YOURHOTELID. You can send the link in an email, WhatsApp or SMS message when a non-guest requests information about the activities you offer.
