Sometimes, a person or company providing a service to your resort or your guests can be an employee or on-site contract supplier. Other times, it's a company or person that you want to treat separately. Planniac gives you some different ways to set these resources up so that you can select them when making plans.

Resources

Resources are set up in their own area called Resources. This is where you set up the service providers and the services they offer. Resources are commonly:

  • Tour operators

  • Taxi or shuttle operators

  • In-house departments like housekeeping or maintenance

  • Freelance tour guides

  • A freelance masseuse

Team Members

These are people who are usually employees or onsite subcontractors. They are set up in Admin Settings > Team Members. Depending on the department(s) they are in and the settings you use, they will be able to:

  • Log in to Planniac with certain permissions according to their role

  • Use Planniac mobile according to their role

  • Be assigned tasks

  • Be marked as a resource to be assigned to certain Tour, Transfer, and Spa activities

  • Be assigned as housekeepers
