Virtual Cards
Before you can activate your card, you'll need to complete identity verification (KYC).
If you haven't done this yet, you'll be prompted to do so in the app.
Once KYC is complete:
From the home screen, tap your card.
Swipe across to the card you wish to activate - it will show an Activate prompt
Follow the on-screen steps to activate
Activation takes less than a minute. Once done, your card is ready to use.
Activating your card on Lite
In most regions, you'll need to deposit $10 into your Plasma One account before you can activate your Lite card. This is not a fee — the $10 stays in your balance and you can spend it as soon as your card is activated.
In some regions, a $10 card fee applies instead. Whether the $10 is a funding requirement you can spend later or an upfront fee depends on your region, and this is clearly shown in the app before you activate your card.
Core & Platinum memberships do not have this requirement.
