You can complete the setup from any computer or supported mobile device.
Your POS app stays in setup mode until you officially launch.
3. Launch
Once your setup for menus, devices, tables, and staff accounts is ready, you can officially launch Platter at your location.
Use your launch checklist to confirm everything is fully configured and your staff is trained.
Switch your account from setup mode to live mode so you can begin taking real customer orders.
After launch, visit the Platter Help Center for support articles and resources.
Troubleshooting
If your account activation email hasn’t arrived, check your spam/junk folder.
If hardware isn’t connecting, confirm it’s on the same network as your POS device.
If test orders disappear, verify you’re not still in setup mode.
If you can’t access settings, make sure your role has the correct permissions.
If onboarding steps are unclear, reach out to your Platter onboarding specialist.
