Creating classes and students

How to create and edit classes, and manage your students accounts on ubbu.

Written by Leandra Santos

To add a new class to your account, just log in to ubbu in teacher mode, and right on the platform's main page you'll find the New class option. Click the button with the + symbol.

Then, simply fill in the required information, such as the class name, school year, and number of students. When you're done, click Continue and then Create class. Your new class will appear on the main page.

You can always edit it later by clicking the Class Management button and choosing Edit. You'll be able to edit the class name and school year.

The Class Management page is also where you can edit your students accounts directly. On this page, you can also see your students' original password. Write it down, as you'll need it later.

For security reasons, ubbu doesn't allow real names to be used as students' usernames, so these are generated automatically. However, you can generate a new username or link students' real names, which will only be visible to you. See this article to learn more.

To add more students to a class, your school group or school needs to have student licenses available. If you need more licenses, click the Talk to us button to get in touch.
