We know it can sometimes be hard to remember all the passwords for our accounts, especially for younger students. Sound familiar?
That's why ubbu has a feature that lets you generate what we call "Password cards".
To use ubbu, students need to log in with their username and the password, which is initially the same for the whole class. With this feature, you can generate a file with this information, print it, and hand out the cards to your students.
To do this, follow these steps:
Select a class, click the ā¢ā¢ā¢Options button in the top right corner, and select Class Management.
āClick Generate password cards.
āThe file will download automatically to your computer.
For privacy reasons, the platform doesn't allow real names to be used as students usernames, so these are generated automatically. You can't edit a username directly, but as a teacher, you can generate a new one. Find out how here.
Password cards are always generated based on each student's current username and the class's original password. ubbu reminds you that this is the original password, and if students prefer, they can change it to a personal one, as explained here.
š” Note: If you have already linked students' usernames to their real names, the password cards will also include their real names, making them easier to distribute.
